Storytime - Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Storytime ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Storytime allows parents and caregivers to record themselves reading books, creating a personal audio library for children to enjoy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Storytime enables parents, grandparents, and other family members to record audio readings of books. Children can then listen to these recordings anytime, keeping the magic of storytime alive even when loved ones are away. The App is provided by Bottner Labs, LLC and is available on iPhone and iPad through the Apple App Store.

3. Subscription and Payments

Storytime offers subscription-based access at the following rates:

• Monthly subscription: $4.99 per month
• Annual subscription: $49.99 per year (save 16%)

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings.

4. Content Ownership and Copyright

You retain full ownership of all audio recordings you create using the App. By using Storytime, you grant us a limited license to store and deliver your recordings solely to provide the service.

Important: You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to record and share any content. When recording published books, please respect copyright laws. Many children's books allow personal, non-commercial recordings for family use, but you should verify this for each book. Storytime is designed for personal family use only.

5. Family Use and Child Safety

Storytime is designed for family use with the following expectations:

• Account creation and management is the responsibility of parents/guardians
• Parents supervise children's use of the App as appropriate for their age
• Recordings should contain only family-appropriate content
• Sharing access with family members is at the parent's discretion

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when creating your account
• Maintain the security of your account
• Record only content you have the right to use
• Use the App for personal, non-commercial family use only
• Not share recordings outside your family without appropriate rights

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App (excluding your recordings) are owned by Bottner Labs, LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bottner Labs, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of recordings or service interruptions.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time for conduct that violates these Terms. Upon termination, you may request a copy of your recordings before they are deleted.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Use at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
